The Board of Overseers is made up of nationally respected pastors and leaders that believe and support Legacy Church. The Board of Overseers will act on behalf of the Board of Trustees and Board of Elders until those roles are established.

Dan Lord started out in ministry as youth pastor for 13 years in St. Louis, Missouri, at South County Christian Center under the leadership of Pastors Roy and Barbara Gerald. Not only was he born and raised in the church, but was later ordained into full time ministry there by Pastor Gerald. It was during this time that his passion for raising up leaders and his enthusiasm for the next generation was developed.
Dan then spent the next 13 years serving as an Executive Pastor at The Life Church in Memphis where he played a key role in developing the Next Gen ministry, starting Axis Youth Conference, founding an accredited leadership college at the church and launching multiple campuses of the church. Dan has also served many churches and organizations by advising them on reaching and developing the next generation of leaders.
In 2018, God called Dan and his family back to the St. Louis area and at the start of 2019 he became the Lead Pastor of Gracelife Chapel. Dan and his wife, Paige, have five amazing children and love being back in their hometown.

Dusty Dean is the pastor of Heartland Church in Dallas, Texas. With strong pastoral legacies in both of their families, Dusty and and his wife, Kendra, stepped into the lead pastor roles at Heartland Church in 2019. They have been ministering for over 18 years often sharing their own story of God’s redemption in their lives and marriage, loving people right where they are and laughing a lot all the way through it.
Pastor Dusty served as an executive and teaching pastor at Heartland Church for 5 years and the Next Gen Pastor for 12 years prior to that. During that time, he founded the Reveal Conference, a yearly conference that has drawn thousands of students for over 14 years. His preaching and teaching has influenced the lives of thousands of people on 6 continents across the world. He holds three degrees: a Bachelor of Science from Dallas Baptist University, as well as Master of Arts and a Master of Divinity from Liberty University. Dusty and Kendra and their two daughters, Jaden and Brooklyn are working to help lead Heartland Church to love people to life.

Doug Garasic is the founding pastor of Rust City Church in Northeast Ohio. In addition to leading Rust City, he travels around the country to coach and invest in other pastors and leaders. Doug authored his first book, Notorious: The Gospel Jesus Intended, in 2014 and released his second book, Wayside: The Last Place You’d Expect to Find God, in 2019. He was never a big reader, so his goal was to make his books enjoyable to read, easy to understand, and to encourage those who are just discovering Jesus or have known about Him for a long time to get a fresh perspective on who God is and what He has for your life.
His latest book, Becoming the Leader You’d Follow, released in 2022. It’s about six ways to increase your influence, based on hard lessons Doug has learned over his years as a leader.
Doug also enjoys binge-watching documentaries, talking to his fantasy football buddies, and collecting original vinyl records. However, his greatest joy comes from being a husband and father, and spending time with his wife and three little boys.
